Script consultations – call for submissions

Screenplay consultations at the Tramway Film Festival! For both short and feature-length films.

TFF is not just about film screenings; it is also a space to support Polish filmmakers seeking their own cinematic voice.

That is why, for the first time, we are organizing one-on-one screenplay consultations. These are open not only to conventional fiction and documentary projects but also to auteur cinema, film essays, documentary-fiction hybrids, and experimental forms.

We have a particular affinity for cinema that does not necessarily adhere to traditional screenwriting formulas—cinema where image, sound, rhythm, and structure are just as vital as the written word, and where the screenplay serves less as a literary blueprint and more as a record of the film’s future structure and form.

From the submissions received, we will select four projects whose authors will take part in 50-minute individual consultations with Ola Jankowska.

Films up to 15 minutes ⮕ treatment or screenplay
Films over 15 minutes ⮕ treatment

Date: November 22, 2026
Location: Warsaw
Submission fee: 75 PLN

We believe that cinema can begin not only with a story but also with an image, a sound, an observation, an intuition, or an experiment.

Submissions open until October 24! Join us!
